Bagdon Environmental was retained to coordinate and submit an Article 24 Freshwater Wetlands permit for the James Baird State Park Golf Course Irrigation System Improvements project. This project had several sensitive environmental issues including endangered species and avoidance of impacts to NYSDEC regulated wetlands and buffers. Bagdon Environmental worked with the architect, engineers, and golf course superintendent to minimize impacts and advance the project through agency review. Some of these measures included directional boring beneath streams and wetlands, as well as project alternatives to avoid and minimize wetland impacts.
